Manufacturing of various serial furniture

The incomparably best material for making furniture is natural wood, which for many centuries was essentially the only material for making furniture. Wood has a number of undeniable advantages compared to other furniture materials. Solid natural wood, especially hardwood such as oak, beech, ash, walnut, larch and many others, have particularly strong wood that guarantees a high level of reliability, quality and durability of furniture. An equally important advantage of wooden furniture is its environmental friendliness, which is extremely in demand nowadays. The wood of a wide range of natural wood species has a unique natural wood texture and no less unique color scheme, which are widely used by furniture makers.

The basis of the production program of many domestic furniture companies is the production of a variety of mass-produced furniture, the purpose of which is its accessibility to a wide segment of the population.

At the same time, the term serial furniture does not mean at all that such furniture is of unreliable quality and inexpressive design. Many creative designers are working on the design of mass-produced furniture, offering consumers diverse and attractive furniture of modern design. The quality of serial furniture depends on the quality and strength of the modern finishing and furniture materials used, the high quality of which ensures the high quality, durability and good quality of serial furniture, and its universal availability is achieved by the low price of the materials themselves.

For the manufacture of mass-produced furniture, such modern materials as chipboard, and in recent years also MDF, have been widely and successfully used for many decades. Over the past years, manufacturers have done a huge amount of work to improve the quality and strength of chipboards and to maximize the protection of the surrounding area from the release of volatile substances. The main ways to protect the environment from harmful substances and reduce environmental pollution of apartments and premises are laminated chipboards or their covering with natural or artificial veneer, which completely imitates the wood texture of any type of natural wood.

Laminated or veneered chipboard has a high level of strength, often exceeding the strength of natural wood. As an illustration of the high strength properties of modern laminated chipboard, the working surfaces of kitchen and dining table tops have unsurpassed resistance to mechanical, temperature and humidity influences. The high strength of chipboard is an important property for the manufacture of furniture frames for storage systems – cabinets, racks, chests of drawers, cabinets.
