To make solid wood furniture, different types of wood are used. Wood species such as pine and birch are used in the production of economy class furniture. Luxury wooden furniture is made from valuable wood species – such as oak, cedar, walnut, beech, mahogany, ash, etc. Furniture made from cheaper types of wood can be used for furnishings in some interior styles – such as country, various ethnic styles, which require light, amber, sunny tones inherent in birch or pine wood.
The most noble wood from which luxury wooden furniture can be made is oak, and rightfully so. In the class of luxury furniture, furniture made of oak wood is in greatest demand, as it has exceptional strength and durability, an unusually beautiful texture, which becomes even more clear and expressive over time. Furniture made from natural wood of other valuable species – beech, walnut, hevea, mahogany and others – has its own distinctive properties, and everyone can choose furniture in accordance with the interior style and their own taste.
When producing furniture from solid wood, special technological standards are strictly observed – wooden blanks are pre-treated in drying chambers to achieve a humidity of no more than 10%. This eliminates any further deformation of the wood. The high quality of solid wood furniture is achieved by the fact that each product is made by hand. For tinting and tinting wood, special primers, varnishes, stains, and stains are used, the treatment of which gives the furniture a particularly attractive appearance.
