Making custom cabinets

The same materials are used to make wooden cabinets as other pieces of furniture. For economical options, simpler materials are usually used, such as laminated chipboards and fiberboards, MDF boards, and various types of plastic.

Nowadays, it is difficult to imagine a home, be it an apartment, a private house or a cottage, without such pieces of furniture as wardrobes, cabinets, chests of drawers. Wardrobes accompany a person throughout his development. With the development and improvement of architectural styles, the design and style of cabinets and all kinds of cabinets have improved to match them. Wardrobes and cabinets in their modern form have a wide variety of purposes – wardrobes, chests of drawers for bed linen, cabinets for kitchen utensils, bookcases, cabinets for the hallway, living room, offices and others. In their modern form, cabinets serve not only their functional purpose, they are an integral attribute of the overall interior of the room. Depending on the size of the premises, cabinets are usually made with one-door, two- and three-door, and according to their placement they can be wall-mounted or corner-mounted.

But naturally, the most expensive luxury cabinets are made to order and only from solid wood. The most popular wood for making luxury furniture, including cabinets, is oak due to its strength, durability and noble appearance. Depending on the wood treatment, bleached oak, ivory oak, rustic oak and bog oak are used for cabinets. The elegance of lines and decoration, combined with excellent materials and highly artistic finishing, make oak cabinets a true masterpiece of classical execution.

Cabinets made from other valuable species – beech, cedar, walnut and other species – look no less beautiful, especially in combination with Karelian birch trim. The process of making luxury furniture is very labor-intensive. First of all, the wood is subjected to long-term drying at a certain temperature in order to avoid subsequent deformation. The wood moisture content at the end of drying should not exceed 10%. All operations for the manufacture and further processing of cabinet parts are performed manually.

Among the variety of furniture styles, including cabinets, the classic style dominates, which includes a harmonious combination of unique materials and the highest quality of their processing. Therefore, the production of such products is usually carried out on individual orders, taking into account the purpose of the room, its size and location. All these factors are taken into account when developing cabinet designs to develop unique interiors for living rooms, offices and bedrooms, taking into account individual wishes for functionality.

The impeccable elegance of classic cabinets, created by the hands of craftsmen according to centuries-old traditions, has now been elevated to the rank of exclusive luxury. Noble types of natural wood, perfection of shapes and lines, magnificent decor using artistic carvings and inlays further emphasize the natural advantages of cabinets and all luxury furniture.
