Making home furniture from wood

Wooden furniture has always been and is a true decoration of the interior of a house or apartment and helps create a warm atmosphere of home comfort in the house.

In recent times, it took only a few years for, thanks to the efforts of domestic manufacturers, the home furniture market to be saturated enough to satisfy the acute demand of our people. The increased demand for affordable furniture was fully satisfied and the furniture shortage in the country was completely eliminated.

Entrepreneurs who brought furniture from foreign manufacturers to the country also made a great contribution to providing our compatriots with furniture. The availability of mass-produced furniture was facilitated by the production of modern, inexpensive furniture materials. After the decline in furniture sharpness, our customers began to pay more attention to non-standard, more elegant and sophisticated furniture.

To produce exquisite and, especially, elite furniture, modern furniture manufacturers use only natural wood of a wide variety of species. In total, more than 40 types of wood are used to make furniture, from rare noble species, such as the hardest species – oak, beech, cedar, walnut, ash and others to exotic tropical species – rosewood, wenge, mahogany and others. In all centuries, wood has been and remains to this day the best furniture material compared to all other materials. Each type of natural wood has a unique natural texture and equally unique color shades. Furniture manufacturers make maximum use of these individual properties of each type of wood in the production of their products.

Naturally, the cost of natural furniture is much higher than mass-produced furniture. In order to reduce the cost of furniture made of natural wood, wood species common in each region – pine, alder, cherry and others – have recently become increasingly popular. Wooden furniture is made taking into account the technological features of wood processing and its use in the production process.

The most expensive furniture is made entirely from natural wood. In this case, the furniture frame and facades (cabinets for various purposes, chests of drawers, cabinets, etc.) are made from furniture panels. The production of furniture panels is carried out on special high-performance and high-precision furniture equipment. The most labor-intensive processes are the final finishing and decoration of furniture facades.

For the manufacture of furniture facades, only solids of the hardest wood species are used, which resist possible mechanical stress and damage better than others. In addition, furniture made of natural wood, unlike many other modern furniture materials, can be restored quite well, and in general, when creating normal natural living conditions, furniture made of wood has sufficient durability. The durability and long-term service of wooden furniture is also facilitated by the use of high-quality furniture fittings – furniture hinges, handles and decorative elements.
