Each of us has repeatedly been convinced from our own experience of the importance of each room in an apartment or house in accordance with its purpose. At the same time, it is important to ensure comfortable and most cozy living conditions.
At the same time, we must not forget that the kitchen is not only a room for breakfast, lunch and dinner; perhaps the most important purpose of the kitchen is to be the workplace of the hostess of the family. It is for this reason that when choosing furniture and household appliances and their arrangement, you need to pay close attention to ensuring, first of all, the greatest convenience for the housewife’s activities when preparing food. It should be noted that many foreign, as well as domestic, furniture manufacturers produce a large number of options for modern kitchen furniture, which will provide the most comfortable conditions that every housewife dreams of. On the other hand, the large availability of options requires more attention when choosing the most preferred kitchen furniture.
Depending on the area and configuration of the kitchen space, designers offer quite a lot of layout options for each specific kitchen. Most often, in apartments in old buildings, a linear kitchen layout is used, especially in small kitchens that are clearly elongated in length. A linear kitchen layout involves placing furniture and appliances along the main wall of the kitchen. In this case, the dining area is usually located opposite, the size of the dining table depends on the size of the kitchen itself, in order to provide comfortable conditions for everyone and at the same time avoid unnecessary clutter.
If the room area is larger, the most optimal would be a two-row kitchen layout, when the furniture is arranged in two rows parallel to each other. The main recommendation of experts is that there should be at least one meter of free space between furniture and appliances so that the doors can be opened freely without interference. To equip kitchens with a sufficiently large area in apartments in modern new buildings, designers offer the most open kitchen layouts, such as right or left corner, U-shaped, peninsula and island. The arrangement of furniture and equipment in these types of layouts is determined by their very name and are the most convenient and functional. Moreover, any sets create the possibility of installing additional items, such as a chest of drawers or a cupboard.
Modern kitchen furniture is distinguished by a wealth of style, a wide range of colors – from pure white to bright orange and others, as well as a variety of materials used, taking into account the rather difficult conditions in which the furniture has to be used. Kitchen furniture must be highly resistant to significant changes in temperature and humidity, especially near stoves, hobs, ovens, and sinks.
