Manufacturing of cabinets and shelving for libraries

Home libraries, as a rule, are combined with home offices, so the closest design attention is paid to the manufacture of wooden bookcases.

Despite the widespread introduction of electronic media into our lives, printed publications have not lost their relevance. In addition, in our public and home libraries there are a large number of rare and ancient publications, including ancient publications and manuscripts that require certain storage conditions.

Home libraries are also of great value to owners, many of which have been collected over a long period of time over many generations, and home libraries also require favorable storage conditions. The experience of public libraries and home storage of books has repeatedly proven that the most optimal conditions are their storage in racks and cabinets. With a fairly intensive book exchange, shelving is more preferable for storing books.

When it comes to storing books at home, shelving is not the best storage option. We all know that open storage of books negatively affects their condition. The ubiquitous household dust settles and clogs books; books cannot withstand exposure to direct sunlight, from which the book spines turn yellow, become fragile and can begin to fray. Therefore, the most preferable conditions for home books are closed cabinets with blank or glazed facades.

The current furniture market in the country is represented by the widest selection of bookcases of various designs and sizes, design styles and purposes. It presents cabinets with solid doors, which can be hinged or sliding, decorated or with a simpler finish. Often in everyday life, bookcases are used with glazed doors at the top of the cabinets and blank doors at the bottom. Glazed doors serve as an excellent means of providing, on the one hand, normal conditions for storing books, and on the other hand, displaying magnificent, beautiful publications, which undoubtedly decorate the home interior. Cabinets with an open part are often used to place rare souvenirs.

In addition to design features, bookcases differ in the materials used. For the manufacture of luxury cabinets, as for the manufacture of all luxury furniture, natural wood is used, the main thing is that the design of the cabinet matches the overall style of the interior. In addition to natural wood, various modern materials are used for mass-market cabinets – chipboard, polymer-coated MDF, laminate, plastic and other materials.

In cases where it is impossible to create a separate office with a library, bookcases can be installed in any room. In the living room, for example, it is advisable to use a niche, if available, or the space between the window openings. You can’t do without a bookcase in a children’s room, because children grow up quite quickly and the time is not far off when the child will go to school, and along with all the furniture, you need to provide space for a bookcase, which should be made in the general style of the children’s room.
