Manufacturing of luxury oak furniture

Elite oak furniture leaves no one indifferent thanks to the unique properties of this type of wood. Oak furniture is primarily a symbol of strength, reliability, durability and power. At the same time, furniture manufactured and decorated according to the author’s design acquires the elegance and sophistication inherent in elite furniture.

The unique properties of oak wood lie in its features that other species do not have. It is well known that during the growth of trees, including oak, the middle part of the trunks practically does not participate in life processes, but only the outer layers of wood. Over many years of life, the middle part of the oak is impregnated with natural preservatives, making its wood especially strong and hard, resistant to rotting processes. Thanks to natural impregnation, oak wood practically turns to stone, and given that oak trees aged about two hundred years are used to make furniture, the strength, hardness and durability of the wood acquire maximum values.

Therefore, in furniture production, oak is considered the best species and, despite its complex and difficult processing, it is preferred over other species. Considering the high costs of preparing oak wood and processing blanks, oak is used mainly for the manufacture of luxury furniture. It is not advisable to use oak for the manufacture of ordinary budget furniture; other, more common tree species are used for such furniture.

Before making furniture parts, oak undergoes appropriate processing. As a rule, for the manufacture of luxury furniture, oak is used in three main types – in its natural state, bleached using a special technology and stained oak. In its natural state, oak wood has shades of color ranging from light yellow to yellow-brown. Lovers of oak furniture in its natural state should keep in mind that over time its wood darkens, acquiring even greater nobility and sophistication.

A characteristic feature of bleached oak furniture is its sophistication and elegance, without compromising the main properties of the furniture – its quality, reliability and durability. Furniture made of bog oak in any style is, first of all, a symbol of unsurpassed quality, reliability, durability, respect for antiquity and stability. Furniture finishing, as well as its manufacturing, is carried out in accordance with its design and is selected individually for each type of oak wood.

Considering the unique properties of oak, it can be perfectly used for making any furniture for an apartment, which will have a beneficial effect on its entire atmosphere. Oak will generously share its accumulated warmth and healthy energy with people throughout the entire life of the furniture. Due to the fact that oak is least susceptible to fluctuations in temperature and moisture, it is ideal for making furniture for the kitchen, bathroom, hallway, and dressing room. However, this does not mean that oak furniture for the living room or bedroom will be less prestigious and presentable. A bedroom furniture set will make the atmosphere of the bedroom itself calm and peaceful, and the internal energy emitted by oak will only add healthy impulses to it. Oak furniture will look no less prestigious in the living room.

For lovers of antique furniture, designers will develop furniture made of bog oak. One can only imagine the pride of the owner of his home office with his bookcase made of bog oak in a retro style, decorated with patinated bronze. Of course, in such a cabinet the corresponding books from ancient publishing houses and other expensive publications should be stored.
