Modular furniture for comfort and coziness in every home

Furniture wooden walls of the past were a set of cabinets for various purposes, made in a single design, uniform color shades and, of course, from the same furniture materials. As an advantage of the furniture walls of the past, it is necessary to note the maximum capacity of the internal space among available storage systems, which ensured the creation and maintenance of order for storing household items.

At the same time, the walls also had significant drawbacks. First of all, it should be noted that they are quite bulky in size, often occupying the entire wall in the room, hence the name “wall”. The bulkiness of the wall was also given by the height of the walls (almost right up to the ceiling), as well as the equal height of all the cabinets that make up the wall. Furniture enterprises, in the manufacture of furniture walls, paid primary attention to ensuring its quality and reliability and minimal attention to the design of furniture. In addition to the monotony of the design of the furniture walls, its appearance was not made attractive by the monotony of the furniture materials.

A significant drawback of furniture walls was that they were completed only by manufacturers, excluding the intervention of the buyer (or owner) in the process of forming the composition of the wall. In other words, the furniture walls did not allow, due to their stationary nature, even the slightest change in the formed interior. For this reason, modern furniture companies initially refused to produce such sets, but given the continued demand from a certain part of the population, they returned to making walls in a modern interpretation. That is, to preserve all the advantages of the former walls and eliminate their disadvantages.

Therefore, modern walls follow an exclusively modular design principle. The first changes affected the problems of completing sets of modular furniture. Furniture companies produce a variety of modules, in different design styles and in a variety of colors. The prerogative of completing sets is transferred to buyers, who create a set based on their capabilities and needs, taking into account changes and additions to the existing interior of living rooms, bedrooms and other rooms. To create a more diverse interior, the modules are made mainly of different heights, as a result the sets do not look so bulky. Excluded from the new sets are bulky wardrobes, which have been “moved” into bedrooms and hallways, including in the form of sliding wardrobes.

Unlike previous furniture walls, modern modular sets are equipped with a wide variety of facades and doors – hinged, folding, sliding, folding from a wide variety of modern furniture materials.
